Welcome to our first ever New Years Eve Learn 2 Curl Event!

Curling is a sport for all ages and abilities, we are excited to have you try one of the most popular Winter Olympic Sports! 

The New Years Eve Learn 2 Curl Event runs Tuesday, December 31st from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. You will learn about the basics of curling, how to slide/use a stick, how to sweep, the rules and basic strategy as well as the etiquette of the game. 

The event is completely FREE to all participants.  Helmets (Ages 12+ and under) & a clean pair of indoor running shoes are required. Registration is required.

Entry Fee of $160 per team includes 2-six end games, lunch and snacks!   

All proceeds from this event will be donated to CASS' Music & Drama departments. 

A FEW ITEMS TO TAKE NOTE OF:

• Registration must occur in advance of the event, the first 16 paid TEAM entries received will be reserved.
• Only full Team registrations accepted on-line.  
• E-transfer payment for the entire team to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.; indicate your Team Name in the comments area; if this is not possible, please indicate, when registering that you will pay via cheque or cash.
• Every participant, if not already a member of the Center, will be required to sign a Waiver & Release of Liability Form on the day of the event, prior to stepping on the ice.  You may read the details of the Form HERE.

• Each team will play two 6 end games.  There is an Early Draw starting at 9:30 am & a Late Draw which starts at 11:30am.  Please arrive by 9:00 a.m. if you are playing on the Early Draw and 11:00 a.m. if you are scheduled for the Late Draw. 
• Please instruct your team members to carry in a clean pair of indoor rubber soled shoes with absolutely no dirt or sand on the bottom.  You cannot wear the street shoes that you wore to this event, on the ice.
• DRESS IS YOUR BEST 80's CLOTHES!
• Hang your coat & change into your curling shoes in the locker rooms (downstairs: ladies to the right, gents to the left)
• Cash & Debit ONLY at the bar

This session runs on Sundays from 10am to 12pm on the following dates: 

January 26th, February 2nd, Feburary 9th, February 23rd, March 2nd & March 9th 2025. 

In order to secure your spot, please remit payment.  Should something happen between now and the date of the event which does not enable you to participate, your event registration fee will be refunded.  If registering as a group, please ensure each person has a different email address.

Thank you for your interest in the 9^th Annual Chuck Phelps Memorial Bonspiel. 

Entry Fee of $200.00 per team includes 2-six end games, soup and sandwiches for lunch and pizza dinner after the spiel is over.   Soup and sandwiches will be served from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. All family and friends are more than welcome to come down to the club and share in the fun and fellowship, they do not have to curl to join in on the day.  We will be running a couple of games throughout the day to entertain all.
